Episode #24: Hillary Clinton Returns!

Hillary Clinton is back! On this week’s episode we discuss Clinton’s newest role as Chancellor of Queen’s University – Phelim’s alma mater! It’s her latest attempt to stay relevant in an increasingly radical Democratic Party.

Also, presidential candidate Cory Booker recently shared his “New Year’s Resolutions” with Pod Save America – we watched the episode so you don’t have to! Spoiler alert: Booker’s “resolutions” sound a lot like virtue signalling. We also discuss Weinstein accuser Rose McGowan who took to Twitter this week to express sympathy and empathy for Iran over the killing of radical terrorist Qasem Soleimani.

Ann’s Baked Brie recipe!

Baked Brie in Puff Pastry

INGREDIENTS
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
Flour, for rolling
1 round brie cheese
1 egg, beaten

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Heat the oven to 350°F

2. Lightly grease a baking sheet

3. Dust a work surface with a small amount of flour.

4. Roll out one sheet of puff pastry rolling pin with a little flour.

Place the round of brie in the middle of the pastry.
Fold the corners over the brie, forming a neat package.
Gently press the edges against the brie to make it stick.
Transfer the wrapped brie to the baking sheet .
Brush the pastry all over with the beaten egg.
Bake until golden-brown, 35 to 40 minutes.
Bake until the pastry is deep golden-brown,
Allow to cool 5 to 10 minutes, you really don’t want to eat straight away and burn your mouth with molten cheese.
Also if you cut the brie too early most of it will gush right out — which is still yummie, but messy
Transfer to a serving platter, it will easily move, just use a good wide flat implement, you know the one you have.
Serve warm with crackers, jams, nuts or candied nuts for extra yummieness Or honey and thinly sliced apple and quartered strawberries
And walnuts and fit jam
You get the picture
Utterly wonderful
Great for a party
