The Daily Virus #12 | The Difference Between Doctors, Politicians, And Economists

Today we examine a topic that seems to be lost among the COVID-19 conversation – the difference between doctors, politicians, and economists.  Comments made by Dr. Anthony Fauci have been met with criticism from the right and the left – but it’s important to remember he is not an elected leader . . . he is not an economist . . . he is a doctor who is trying to protect public health.  We explore why that’s a good thing . . . and a bad thing during our current situation.

If we were to purely focus our political decisions on public health – we would lose many things that we cherish as a country and as a people.  A ban on alcohol would greatly impact public health!  A ban on driving would stop accidents.  But it’s destructive to our culture . . .

Today we also talk about the media – who got a WIDE AWAKENING in yesterday’s press conference.  It’s unlikely things will change from their crooked ways – but the Trump administration has made it abundantly clear that they will not tolerate the media’s lies about the virus any longer.

Also on today’s show we discuss the county sponsored “Snitching” in San Bernardino county.  We also visit new information from the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) who believes China’s death toll could be much higher than anyone anticipated.

Lastly, if you haven’t yet, check out our piece in the Daily Wire about the homeless population in Los Angeles. The Mayor is ignoring a huge public health crisis that could exacerbate the pandemic locally.
